About HIR

Health Information Research (HIR) is a 501c3 nonprofit organization offering free medical information research to patients who seek a better understanding of their disease and its treatment options.

Founded in 2002 by Executive Director, David S. Most, PhD, HIR serves as an objective resource for the patient. Helping patients to UNDERSTAND their status, REVIEWING  pathology reports, and  DISCUSSING proposed courses of therapy, and examining other options are the benefits of dialogue.

Through the generosity of GRANTING institutions as well as CONTRIBUTIONS FROM INDIVIDUALS, HIR, Inc.  is able to provide this service free of charge to patients throughout the United States.

A chemist and businessman for more than 45 years, Dr. Most became active organizing medical  seminars and cancer support groups after his retirement AND successful prostate surgery. As a prostate cancer survivor, he attends medical seminars throughout the country to stay abreast of new treatment methods and technology.

Dr. Most was the Founder and  Director of The Patient Resource Center at Good Samaritan Hospital  in West Palm Beach(1998-2002) and served as the Southeastern Program Director for the International Cancer Alliance (ICA) of Bethesda, MD.
